Fresh air feels better without unwanted visitors. In this installation, completed on 29 October 2026, Catchers fitted pleated door screens and roll-up window screens. These are photos of our actual completed work.

The dark screen frames sit alongside the existing window and door joinery, showing how different screen styles can be used within the same home.

Pleated screens for doorways

The doorway photo shows the folded mesh of a pleated screen stretched across the opening. This style gathers into folds when opened, allowing access through the doorway.

When planning a door screen, consider how you use the entrance. Is it your regular route to the garden, or a door you open for a breeze? The opening direction, handle position and available fitting space help determine a suitable arrangement.

Roll-up screens for windows

The window photos show roll-up screens fitted around existing opening windows. This type of screen retracts into its housing when it is not needed.

Window handles and access matter just as much as appearance. Before choosing a system, check how you will reach the handle and operate both the window and the screen comfortably.

A solution for each opening

You do not have to use the same screen style throughout your home. This installation shows how window and door screens can be selected separately to suit different openings.

Start with the windows and doors you use most often. Photos of the full opening, surrounding frame and handles are useful for an initial discussion. Final measurements and fitting details should be confirmed before production.
